Celebrate Carnival season this year with Universal Studios Orlando Mardi Gras Celebration! Enjoy food, parades, and live music included with the price of your general admission ticket. Parades
Parades are central to Carnival celebrations, and the good news for you is that parades run during regular park hours! On select days, enjoy parades with Carnival and Mardi Gras theme floats. The Park Prodigy lists some of the past floats Universal Mardi Gras debuted, including Miss New Orleans Steamboat, Treasure Map, Court Jesters, and more! You can also reserve a spot on a parade float to toss beads out to the crowd. No better way to really enjoy the parade!
Food
There are no official menus for the parks yet during the Mardi Gras celebration, however, a world of flavor is promised! Not only will you have access to mouth-watering Cajun food, but also from other places that celebrate Carnival. In previous years, menus have included food and drink options from Spain, Italy, Canada, Trinidad and Tobago, Brazil, and more! Dive into the experience with the Mardi Gras Float Ride and Dine Experience where for a set price you get one appetizer, one entrée, one dessert, and one non-alcoholic drink with a float rider reservation!
You will be able to enjoy a three-course selecting menu at Universal’s Finnegan’s Bar & Grill or Lombard’s Seafood Grill. Or from Universal CityWalk’s the Cowfish Sushi Burger Bar or NBC Sports Grill & Bar. Or enjoy the Food & Beverage Tasting Card that allows you 50 plus options!
Live Music
On select nights, the Mardi Gras celebration will include live music from some of your favorite bands! Enjoy music from the Goo Goo Dolls, 3 Doors Down, Patti LaBelle, and more! Best Time to Visit
If all of the food, parades, and music cannot sway you that you do not want to miss Universal Studios Mardi Gras Celebration, maybe the time frame will. The celebration will start in February and go through April. If you are not a fan of crowds, the best time to plan your trip will be in February or early March, before Spring Break! Plus, general admission is typically lower during those times.
